About Dana

My name is Dana Hilgers and I am currently a freshman Advertising major at the wonderful University of Illinois, in Urbana-Champaign. At school I'm an active member of the 17 pledge class or Alpha Epsilon Phi, and a member of National Student Advertising Competition, a branch of U of I's American Advertising Federation club. I work in the dining hall, and although I don't get paid much, the work is super easy, and I'm no snob when it comes to jobs, I'm paying my own way through college, but also I have a smidge of a shopping addiction. Thankfully its a sale addiction (I rarely pay full price for anything. I love shopping but school comes first.)

I'm currently about to enter my second semester and am hoping that blogging with help me reflect and focus. I'm an obsessive journal collector.(I'm not quite sure how this happened, just that it did...) A journal for dreams, on for reflection, one for aspirations, one for passwords, one for a planner, one for a running log, and on and on. I literally cant help my self. I have blogged in the past, and still run Danadoesread.blogspot.com (formally simply .com but i got rid of the domain name because I haven't updated it in over a year. So i decided to start this one, as a place for me to talk about whatever I deem fit. Health, Dorm life, DIY, life experience, Ad stuff, College advice, whatever. I expect my posts to be extremely pinable, and hope that everyone enjoys delving into my lifetime adventures.
